[TUT]Triple Booting Linux Mac OSX Windows XP[TUT]

This is all under your MacBook, not of this shit works with windows. First off, you'll need to dual boot before you can triple boot. Follow my tut below or for the link: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=653200

    Code:

    Intro:
First off, what is boot camp? Well my friend, boot camp is a system application pre installed on your Macintosh Computer. It allows you to either boot up to your leopard OS, or your Windows OS. Yes, that's right faggots, you can have 2 operating system under 1 computer. I'm almost positive you've heard of boot camp before, but do you know how it it works? Follow these steps and you'll have 2 great systems.

First off, you can only use Windows XP or higher with 32 bit. Don't get any modded shit burnt off a disc. It won't work and you'll be out a computer. Just letting you know. You need authentic Windows Disc.

Don't fuck up any of these steps, or you could totally rape your computer. Follow these in order.

    Directions:
    1. First go to finder.

    2. Now, click "applications."

    3. Scroll down to utilities and click on it.

    4. Click "Boot Camp Assistant."

    5. Launch it.

    6. Click "Continue."

    7. Slide the bar as much as you want until your pleased with the amount of GB for Mac OSX and Windows. If you are using Vista, you must use at least 32 GB. You should use 40 Gigs AT LEAST for either XP or Vista.

    8. Click "Partition" to start off the operation. This will take a while. Don't sweat on it...

    9. After its done, another window will pop up asking you to pop in your windows disc and click start installation. Don't go crazy and pop in your disc and be like ohhhh! Run! Start! Another no no faggot. Disc needs to be 32 bit xp or vista disc. Can run Premium and Home versions.

    10. A Blue screen will pop up. If you get a blue screen you have no fucked up your computer hahaha. Nah, just kidding. That's supposed to happen. Click enter and then agree.

Now listen up, this is important.

    11. Make sure you choose the right partition after putting your windows in! When a list of crap comes up, make sure you click on the partition "Boot Camp" or CDrive: Partition 3 and click enter.

    12. Next, you must choose the right file system. NTFS or Phat32. Go to NFTS!! It's faster and better and more secure. Click enter on it.

    13. Now click F to format. This could take a while again. When it's done doing its stuff, it will restart.

    14. It will come back on and WTF XP (or vista) IS ON MY MAC!?? Yay! Run through the welcoming steps. It will complete its format and installation and restart again.

    15. A welcome screen will appear again. Uhhhh. Auto update your OS and make your user name. It will say thank you and welcome to windows now.

    16. Now your at the desktop! YAY! Oh fuck wait, there is nothing on my desktop and I cannot control anything or turn my speakers up or down or anything! NOO! Calm down. This should happen. Get out your leopard disk. Insert it.

    17. Now boot camp installer will pop up on your windows desktop. ? Click next. Then "accept" and next. And on the next screen if the box is not checked, check it because you need firmware updates! Then click finish.

    18. Your volume and keyboard should work now : ) But now it's part for another restart!

    19. After another boot up, your windows is fine. Now Shut down. Restart. Hold down 'ALT" on your keyboard and it will ask you if you want to start up windows or osx. Go to osx and login. Then go to system preferences and go to startup disk. Click Mac OSX. Mac will be your auto OS and if you want to change, restart and hold alt and go to windows.
Now, we have osx, and xp. We still need linux. This is only been tested for ubuntu, so if your using fedora, mint, it should work.

    20. Go to applications and utilities > disk control. Split the Main/OSX partition and reduce 20 GB from it or however many gigs you think you'll need or which operating system you'd like to be your default, you can always change and even delete them.

    21. Put your linux CD in. I'm not providing a torrent for this one, find it yourself and burn to a disk.

    22. Press C to prepare the cd. Launch the cd and install fedora, mint, or whatever.

    23. Follow the instructions, its just like the "welcome new xp user" you have done above ^^

    24. Install refit. Reboot. Using refit, boot into linux holding alt option key.

    refit.
    Code:
    http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?groupname=refit&filename=rEFIt-0.13.dmg&use_mirror=internap
    25. Yay.

btw I'm very noobish with refit. I just found out about it 2 days ago. :p Its a start up tool. Search it for more.

Any problems, I got verrrrry less descriptive in here, because most of the stuff is self explanatory, just post problems here and I'll try to help. :p
