You basically *have to* get at least 38 Prayer, so you might as well get the 42 (or 43 if you think people will fight back)

 

Hmmm, i've been looking on youtube and apparently you can get it at 1 prayer, but yeh i probs will get the prayer anyway, training hunter nao becasue some nub won't do it for me.

I've seen a few on my low lvl pure, they're pretty good.

 

They're fun to play around with, albeit with expensive casts: 2 blood runes.
well expensive for a lvl30..

I don't see how prayer would help much since the max hit would be at 20 anyways (30 if 80 mage)... well, you could be a nub and protect item.
