Insane Idea! Someone, do it with me? :)

Hi. I've recently come across a thread on D2JSP of a user who has NEVER, EVER, traded or used the grand exchange.

This user has around a 100M bank without ever trading.
Making his own bows for ranging.
Mining his bars to make armour
Doing barrows runs for hours to get good armour.
True hero in my opinion.
I'm about to do this, and would like it if someone did this with me.

Fresh off of Tutorial Island. Needs membs.
But yeah. Anyone?
(By the way, if you look up his account Itam 69, look at his stats. Amazing for doing it all by hand without trading/buying the equipment.

This sounds like a good idea, then I thought I would have to runecraft my own runes. That's put me off it :s

nah i don't enjoy the game anymore lol, only reason i play is to trade/use the g.e to make mils to sell on sythe :love: sorry

nobody really sells resources anymore they just use the ge

 

You can be very sulf-sefficient in RS, if your not lazy ofc.

 

I ALWAYS make my super atk and strs, and p pots / sup restores.

If you get into the habit, you get used to it and gain lots of xp.

 

It sounds acctully pretty cool. Im thinking about trying it.

 

I've often thought of doing this. It's basically playing it the way the game was REALLY meant to be played. Of course, it would take a very very long time so it'd get QUITE boring sometimes. I actually had a conversation on Runescape with my friend just yesteraday. He said whenever he got a 99 (he's an addict kinda .) he feels prouder when he does it by himself instead of just buying the rune essence or buying the seeds through the Grand Exchange. He's gotten a majority of his experience from fletching, cooking and all his other very high skills just by getting the items himself.

 

I remember the days of buying all my stuff from W1 or W2, I personally hate the ge as there is barely any human contact. This sounds like a good idea. Wish i had time to play rs or i would have done it with you GL mate
