Well, if you read the front-page news, you've seen the new idea that Jagex is proposing. Basically, I see it as a personal flash-drive that accesses your account. Jagex are idiots; first off.

You can easily Rwt accounts now, it's almost like they are asking you to. By simply mailing your "Security Stick," you have sent someone your account with no chance of you (or any seller) recovering it. This vastly improves Rwt and makes buying and selling accounts effortless.

    Thoughts?

    But we should watch out?

If a scammer sells their account to someone without mailing it, they could have a security key, and they could recover it easily...

This is very true. IF this is released, Rwt will be changed forever. This would require all sellers to provide this key upon the sale of any account.

What if scammer lie and say they never purchased a key, this just may kill off RWT (people will not trade each other out of fear)

I'm also curious about the hacking part. What if someone were to gain control of somebodies account, and then put the security key thing on it? Would the guy who got 'hacked' be S.o.L? In other news, I'm personally going to buy one, if not two. I think it's a fairly decent idea. Then again, the hacking thing. All well, I should probably quit typing now.

If you had a static ip or your ip address is hidden , then your safe. Whenever
I track myself and my ip is always in a different location but always near the
    host .

I'm saying that you would HAVE to. The buyer would most likely be the one paying for it just so he's safe in the trade. I would honestly pay $10 more to know I have a fail-safe account.

But what if someone buys a key then sells the account, they then tell the buyer they never bought a key, a week later, the scammer uses the key to recover the account.

No, I'm saying a key would HAVE to be bought in order for the sale to even take place.
