    $300 comuter?

I am planning to build a gaming computer and wonder what parts you would recommend.
Is it possible to build a fairly good gaming computer for $300 or less?

Please post compatible parts for $300 or less.

Or Graphics card, unless you count the onboard graphics.

Basically you can use a standard PC base and just mess with it. Make sure you have sufficient Ram around 2-4gb. A pretty good graphics card might set you back a few hundred dollars and you could use a standard processor.

You won't get top of the line for $300 though.

If you are going to build a gaming computer id suggest at least a duel core 2.1ghz CPU, for gfx card I wouldnt go lower than a nvidia 8600 gtx. And you dont need more than 2gb ram. Make sure you get a good cooling system so you can over clock your CPU.

You probably will need to get a graphics card and OS which can be over $300 by its self.
