A virus on memory stick?

    A virus on memory stick?

    Hey everyone, i found a memory stick and decided to take it home with me.
    As i opened it on this pc at home and apparently my anti virus said its got a TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen on it, is this anything to worry about? i clicked deny acess so idk if itll damage me.

    I looked up about it too, it came up with this...

    What is your question then? It is obvious that a virus was on the flashdrive. If you still want to use it, then just wipe the memory stick and scan your computer for any potential viruses you may have gotten from it.

    Delete everything on the stick, scan your computer, and delete any viruses. If you are still using your computer regularly you didn't get some huge computer squashing virus.. you'll be ok. If you don't have a virus scan I can help you find a free one. Just PM me. ;)

    Use a library computer, delete the infected files on your Thumbdrive.

    Let the staff of the library deal with the virus, or you can just use it to be safe and then delete it if it infects the library computers.

    Saves your PC from getting infected and can save you a lot of money depending on how bad the virus is.

    Format The USB. Pretty smart idea, Chuck a Keylogger on a USB, put on ground or leave at an Internet Cafe, Somebody Takes, Bam you owned them

    Haha.
