Do you know what real rap sounds like?

Whoever just said "Lil Wayne is now the illest rapper." Should be shot, hanged, burned and baried.

Okay. Let me break it down for you.

Real RAP isn't Lil' Wayne, or Flo Rida.
REAL RAP is: Wu-Tang, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Nas, Easy E, Big L, Big Pun, UGK, Young MC, Bun B, NWA, Method Man and Redman, Dr Dre, and Jay Z(Back Then, when he was good.)

Anyone that comes CLOSE, is Eminem in todays world. Eminem's LYRICS, are true. Eminem LYRIC wise is the greatest alive. Nas comes close.
But the way our world is TODAY, they listen to "Lil' Wayne" who has no lyrics and no flow what-so-ever.

BEST lyrically, in my opinion are Nas and Eminem. They JUST have that flow.

If you are saying, "50 Cent, Flo Rida, Lil' Weezy Baby..." then you DO NOT know what REAL rap is. You know what GANGSTA rap is. No. If you want REAL rap, listen to the artists I mentioned.

Listen to THOSE songs, then you'll understand the difference between REAL rap and GANGSTA rap (Lil' Wayne, 50 Cent, etc...)

He's one who is right. The rap about hoes and such is what disgraces rap as much as it's disgraced, and why people frown on it and call it "(c)rap". If every rapper had lyrics like eminem, or if they had lyrics that actually were real and meant something, then rap would not be hated on as much as it is.

Alrighty, first off, I really don't like rap, and I could care less about the verdict of this "argument."

But, seriously? Who cares what "real rap" is? What are you guys trying to prove by saying one artist is better than the other? Who are any of you to delegate between someone else's music taste? No one will win this, because you are different people.

Music is music. Love it for what you love it for and fuck everyone else's opinion.
