I'm not straightedge (I love drinking ) But some of my friends are and I respect it. It shouldn't matter to you what they think as long as you're having a good time and are happy with your life.

Indeed, I am a punk who talks shit about them over the internet. The only reason I am talking shit about them is because they , the ones i live near atlest, treat it like it's some kind of gang. They try and force there beliefs on people.

Actually, all this is bull.

Straight-edge kids aren't the type who fight people who do drugs. Those are called "aggressive/angry" people. I'm called straight-edge because I don't do weed or smoke/drink. It's my opinion. I have alot of friends who do drugs and alcohol. That's great. I ask them not to do it around me. That's it. We don't automatically punch people who do that stuff.

Also, not all Straight-Edge/Christian kids push their beliefs on other people. Yes, they may try to convince you and show you facts to try and persuade you.. but they don't push it on you. Only some.

And just for the record, people with weed try to persuade me to smoke ALL THE TIME. "It's healthier than cigarettes and all that stuff. It's not unhealthy... blah blah blah". So don't start saying only and all christians/straight edge do that.

 

If someone ever told me they are strait edge I would automatically assume they were stuck up faggots. They don't have to say their strait edge, just don't have fun in peace.

 

You DO know you can have fun without all that bs right? And yeah, I don't say it. It doesn't make you a "stuck up faggot" either. People who repeat it and throw it in people's faces, while walking around with a smug look saying "im straight-edge".. those are stuck up annoying people.

 

I do a lot of programming while stoned. I have much better ideas of how to achieve something while under the influence.

My girlfriend is straight edge, and just because she doesn't wanna have sex doesn't mean there aren't other ways of having fun. But she's not a stuck-up faggot.

 

I think I'm better because I spend my money on the more important things in life. Rather than selling my morgage to pay for some more weed.
