1. Was he murdered?
No, he was taking prescription grade painkillers and anesthetic. An anesthetic that is typically only used in a hospital setting because if the patient is not closely monitored they can stop breathing and go into cardiac arrest (sound familiar?). There had been some speculation that he committed suicide, something that cannot be ruled out with his history of depression and body dysmorphic disorder. "suicide cocktails" typically involve a high dose of prescription-grade anesthetic mixed with a variety of drugs sometimes including painkillers such as Demerol (he was getting daily injections of Demerol). Again, tox reports will have to come back for a conclusive answer, but there has been no indication he was murdered at this point.

2. Are they his kids?

I'll do a little bit of a genetics lesson here, although the genes for skin pigmentation are slightly more complex as they rest on multiple genes instead of a single gene here is a very simple genetic equation.

We will say, for sake of example that R = red flower and w = white flower.

The R is capitalized because it is what is called a "Dominant" allele and the w is recessive. A gene is composed of two alleles. The R and w are each alleles.

RR = Red flower
Rw = Red flower
ww = white flower

Now, each flower is carrying two alleles for it's color, so we can cross them in a variety of different ways.

RR x RR = all red offspring

RR x Rw = RR, Rw, RR, Rw (All red offspring, with the ability for off-spring to produce white flowers when they reproduce)

Rw x Rw = Rr, Rw, Rw, ww

Rw x ww = Rw, Rw, ww, ww

ww x ww = all white offspring

As I previously said, skin color is a result of many allele pairings like this, however it is genetically improbably for a black man to give birth to three white children. I guess it's technically possible that MJ and his partner were carrying the exact allele's they needed to be and got extremely lucky (I'm talking 1 in a few billion maybe trillion).

It is much much much more likely that the children are not (at least genetically) his own.
