My apology dispute.

My first dispute was to prove my innocence in a script that I did not leech, my second dispute was to dispute another script that had material from another person's script that I had denied taking, and did not cite.

This is my last dispute, just a quick apology for what I've done.

SuF: Sorry for any drama I've caused you, although my first dispute I had to make honestly was my script, the one I'm currently banned for was not mine. I took most of the script and edited it into mine, and did not cite the person's work. But I'm truly sorry for making you look like the bad guy, you're a decent guy.

Sin: Although you love doing you're job, banning people, sorry for making it another ban to add to your list.

Darthatron: Sorry for lying to you, when you had faith in me and believed I didn't take the script.

Ben: I know you tried to talking to people in getting me unbanned, and helped me plead my case. I'm extremely sorry for lying to you, you're a good friend.

Anyone else who tried helping me, that I may not have put into this quick post, I'm sorry for lying to you.

I understand what I've done was wrong, and I think it would be best just to permanently keep me forum banned from the whole "Programming" section that way things like this can be avoided in the future.

mu-b, why didn't you post the dispute I gave you?

 

You didn't steal 'material' from another script, you stole the script itself. I don't know how scripting works, but what you posted was line for line, space for space, verbatim what someone else posted about 7 years ago.

I found identical copies of many of your other scripts on different sites as well. Although most of them only go back a couple years, and I could not as easily prove that you didn't write them first, it is suspicious given even one proven charge of plagiarism.

 

I think we should unban him.. he was just trying to help :C

 

People don't plagiarize to 'help'. They do it for rep, etc. Otherwise, he would have credited the creator, instead of himself.

He knew the rules; he lied about stealing the scripts and wormed his way out of his first ban for ripping by claiming he wrote it first. The script I banned him for he excused by claiming he was 'hacked' at the time.

He can return in 20 days, once his temp has expired.
