Emachines Computer - System Failure

My computer got a major problem

Well recently ive been turning of my computer from the mains.

Now my computer fails.Doesnt work

I try to start it up. Comes up with black screen ,

Safe Mode at top

Last known working w/e

Start windows normally.

Which ever one i go on it comes to the Windows Xp loading screen then it restarts ,

ALSO WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD A COPY OF WINDOWS EMACHINES RESTORE CD

Im using an emachine computer, I dont have a restore CD.

Ive tried pressing F8 or w/e and tried all the availible option but it restarts

If i need an restore cd , would anybody be willing to sell?

I lost mine :|]

Please someone post what i can do

 

My best suggestion would to be:

1) Send it in for someone
2) Use the internet to find & burn a copy of an OS disc

1. Turn off the computer with the problem (your eMachines) (If its not already off... but probably is)
2. Wait for the 2nd or 3rd screen and while its loading at the bottom it should say Press F11 to reset your computer then it counts down from like 5, Press F11 when prompted to and you should go to the angel recovery.
3. Make sure no CD-R is inserted into your computer or else it would make a recovery disc out of it :O , and follow the instructions to reset your computer like its brand new.

If all else fails, get a new computer or send it in to be fixed.

 

Emachines are notorious for having problems when the power gets turned off abruptly, from what I've heard e.g. a lightning storm, power goes out.

It doesnt make much sense to me, but It's just a rumor.

If all else fails, reformat it.

i have the same kind of computer as you and had the same problem i fixed it and here is how:
1.turn off computer and turn it back on
2.the second the screen lights up repededly press f8
3.you should be in advance boot options click repair your computer
4.pick the country
5.log on
6.on the recovery options screen click recovery manager
follow the intructions
7.click one of the following
recovery w/ auto data backup-saves all stuff on cpu
OR
full factory-deletes all your stuff
8.when it done loading wtf did all my stuff go
look in c:/ there should be a file called BACKUP click it and theres all you stuff
have fun computing again =]

Hmmm sounds complicated i usually find out my problems on google so try there.
