    Best VR Headset/system

Please help me decide on which VR headset is worth getting assuming it's required to choose one. "None, vr sucks" isn't a valid answer.

    • HTC Vive Cosmos Elite
      • $849.00
      • Platform: Windows
      • Includes: Headset & cable, SteamVR base station, 2 controllers
      • Does NOT include: object detection unless you buy a $91.99 "Virtual Reality System Tracker"
      • Restrictions: Requires a moderately powerful gaming computer, enabled for VR gameplay
    • Oculus Quest 2
      • $299.99
      • Platform: Oculus
      • Includes: Headset, 2 controllers
      • Does NOT include: base station or environment apart from facebook ecosystem, object detection with no device solution
      • Restrictions: requires a facebook account, which I don't have
    • Sony Playstation VR
      • $697.00
      • Platform: Playstation 4 or 5
      • Includes: Headset, 2 controllers, object detection via infrared detector
      • Does NOT include: PS4 or PS5 (which I'd need to buy, and I'd like to get the PS5, so there'd be a lag)
      • Restrictions: does not work with a PC, and only plays playstation network games
    • HTC Vive Pro Eye
      • $799.00
      • Platform: Windows
      • Includes: Headset
      • Does NOT include: controllers, which are $199.99 each, SteamVR Base Station which is also $199.99, or object detection, another $91.99
      • Restrictions: It seems to be more about virtual experience rather than virtual gaming, it's almost $1,600 just to get to plugged into a gaming system and set up with controllers
    • Vive Index VR Kit
      • $999.00
      • Platform: Windows
      • Includes: Headset, 2 controllers, 2 SteamVR Base Stations, 2 Base Station Stands
      • Does NOT include: object detection unless you buy a $91.99 "Virtual Reality System Tracker"
      • Restrictions: Pretty expensive, still less than Pro Eye
