What's up with straight edge kids?

Because for one they don't do drugs, have sex or anything else similar. They fight to stay straight edge which shows they have character traits which effectively make them better people.

 

And how does not doing drugs, or not having sex make someone a better person?

 

Straight Edge kids are retarded. In a town pretty close to mine there's actually a gang of SxE kids that will beat the shit out of anyone who breaks Edge. One of my best friends got mixed in, and soon didn't want to be Edge, so they beat the shit out of him and tazered him just because he didn't want to be like that anymore.

 

Usually when ever you do something that lasts for about 7mins and leaves you wanting more is not a good thing to do. Most people in the world will say they are brain washed into thinking they are normal, but most of the time the people who do them say we are brain washed; thinking its just propaganda.


Also Xwink, if you think you can't die from pot then do you not smoke it?

Ya I got friend who got mixed in with that too they beat the shit out of himto "initiate" him, he's just a follower. I also know someome who got there lip ring tourn out by one of those sxe kids for smoking a ciggarette. Personaly i think smoking, having sex, and OCCATIONLY smoking pot, and drinking is better than violence.

 

People are usually trappe in an illusion that when they spend more time conentrting on school work, they feel more accomplished and hence better than those white guys from those f*ucking above the influence commercials who smoke pot. And then that leaks down to anyone else who likes some fun.

A straight edge kid beat the shit out of me for no reason. I didn't provoke it or anything, he called a bitch, pussy, etc. and i completely agreed with him. So he took my skateboard, when i tried to get it back he got me in some gay hold and puched me in the face atleast three times. When he got up he kicked my in the back twice.

 

I find it hilarious that they enforce a self-protective lifestyle by beating people up. Such hypocrisy. Suggests that most of it is for the image..

Look it's simply your view of a straight edge kid.
If you think a straight edge kid is someone who tries to lecture you to not do drugs and beat the crap out of you if you do perhaps do drugs, then you have a valid point.
but they're usually not those types of kids. They just choose to not do drugs as you choose to do.
Im guessing that you probably don't fight kids simply because they dont do drugs and vice versa.

Actually a lot of them do think that, because they think the people who aren't exactly straight edge are just so terrible just because they enjoy different things, and they consider un-straight-edge people outcasts.

I don't fit your description.

My thought process for this is thusly: I avoid talking to people who do drugs because they are usually like "omfg this is so cool c'mon man you gotta try it." And it REALLY annoys me. I'd only think I'd be better than them due to the overall level intelligence they seem to display in general, which is considerably low. I'm fine with what you do with your own body, because to be honest, if you fuck up your life it isn't my problem. What IS my problem is when people try to force things on to me.

I don't even like most alcoholic drinks, and I prefer to have a 'clean' mindset because it allows me to more accurately address my circumstances. For example, I'm a programmer, if I were to write a program while stoned or drunk I highly doubt that anything I write would even work, let alone be efficient.

 

It's a lifestye that people choose to take.
It's really not all that big of deal.

 

I know a guy in my school that's just like this. They usually piss us off because they suck up to the teachers and get good grades.

 

It's a big deal when they beat you up for no reason.
