PS Animation Tut

Hi there, I'll be making some tutorials of animation. Animation is made easy, nothings complicated. First I'll be starting with Shine Effect.





1. Have your image\text ready to Shine.
2. Create a new layer (Shine Layer) and have your Lasso Tool [L] or Pen Tool [P] ready. I'll be using the Lasso.
3. Use the Lasso\Pen tool around the text, I recommend half way as mine.



4. Fill in the color with Gradient Tool [G] on the Shine Layer. (I recommend white, I'll be using Orange.)



5. Have the Shine Layer selected while selecting your image\text by hitting ctrl+ the little image\text box like below.



6. Add layer mask and remove the clip on the layer, click on the first box left of the clip.



7. Now your ready for the animation work. Now go to your Animation Frames, not timeline.
8. On the first frame lets move the Shine effect, mine will be coming from the left so we'll move it to the left until you cannot see it anymore. [Holding shift while moving is more accurate]
9. Create a new frame, now move the Shine effect to the right until you cannot see it anymore. [Holding shift while moving is more accurate]
10. Select both frames and press Tweens - 20 frames to add



11. Save for web and devices and your done mate.



Just to remind it can be any color that you want, it can be coming from any side etc. Your learn animation and you'll be doing your own thing.

i like it but be more specific in things or a vid will help alot i didnt understand i got lost at gradient when i laso a letter and choose the gradient and the color white mine dosent hsow like yours like the color white inside the laso?
