    I really don't watch too much MMA but I just wanted to suggest that you check out Buakaw Banchamek. He's a Muay Thai/Kickboxer fighter with a record of 229 wins, 23 losses. The man is an absolute weapon, plenty of vids on YouTube of him.

    Yeah fair enough. I don't know too much about him just that he is a very good fighter and has a nice record. Why do you say he is not anywhere close to being at the top (aside from being unofficially retired)?

    He never won any stadium belts against top level Thais. He only got recognition after traveling overseas to Japan and winning the K1 titles there against Japanese kickboxers, which goes to show how advanced Muay Thai was for a striking art. His training partner, Namsaknoi was much much better and was the one originally supposed to be the one to fight in Japan, but got injured last minute so Buakaw had to replace him instead. I still have tons of respect for Buakaw though, since he defeated many great kickboxers over in Japan and raised awareness for Muay Thai to many fans across the world.

    Yes I've seen some of his kickboxing matches! He's definitely a very brutal striker in all regards.
