    Im thinking about starting a range/2h. It will be f2p at first and then once i get to about 70range ill get mem. I have a question about stats

    im thinking

    range-70
    str-60-then higher once mem
    att-40

    Would it be helpful to get say 30 or 40 def for studded or green d'hide?

    Don't raise defense in f2p, especially if your a pure. I had a range tank and they suck in f2p.

    Well, studded is 20 def. But no, it would not. If you are going to train def at all, do it by quests in P2p.
