new way to merch/trade - 500% profits

Firstly; the idea of merchanting is to get PERCENTAGE rises. not gp rises, as this makes more money yes?
okay the idea being, we buy items that are low in price. and rise them times 5/6 in price instead of most clans buying out an item for 3 days to dump on people.. its pathetic.
i figured itll help traders, as you can buy on a main, and trade over to other accounts, if you think
an account with 2mil ye? not hard to get that.
3 weeks, 10mil.
do that again and you've got a reasonable 50mil
obviously the item may not sell at dump price but really.. what item does at the end of a price manipulation?
way to get round this, trade to another account? trade for 3a/phats
well this is what ive been doing anyway. worked for me so if anyone wants to join in, or come in for the 500% profits then yeah
we do ingame cc, dont advertise much, as really we dont need that many people and risks of dumpers etc

No, it won't work anywhere near what you are proposing.

This is not a flame, I'm saying this to save others from losing money on this. You will start off good, then get a mass of people who dump early. Unless you are going to make a 500m rquirement to join, and keep it to 3-4 people, you will lose money. Good luck, but, everyone, do this at your own risk.

Thing with this though is that your investing into such a small value item you wont make much gp. Granted the percentage rise will be high but it wont be worth it

 

If you raise it 5x jagex will fix it before you sell.

ive got 70k tomatos in 3 days
hundreds of thousands more, but still even if you only get a few it doesnt really require much effort does it? stick an offer in ge?

 

fair enough on the 'your own risk' bit as yes merchanting is risk. but often rewards far,
this isnt a new thing really. im just catching onto what people do solo so everyone can do it.
clan is small for a reason, to try and avoid what your sayin bout dumpers but should be okay i think pretty much every member is devoted etc

you cant, you need it to be selling at max, and the item to be bought out, youd need to buy lots of masks, or everyone to do it
