I know Dropkick. I'm always questioning my faith. I don't see any reason why I should believe it. There are NO proofs that Jesus healed the people with sicknesses. No proof that he raised the dead. Nothing.

The bible wasn't sent from heaven. It was written by humans. So, what makes me really wonder is, is there really a God? I actually like to believe that there is one and we owe everything to him. But it is not really scientifically proven is it?

    The Existence of God

My mom is christian and she pushed me into church and such until I told her I refused to go anymore. Some people whitness certain things that make them believe there is a god but I have never witnessed anything to think that way. I respect everyone's religion as long as it does not effect me or anything I care about negativly. Everyone that is saying oh I believe in this god and there is not possible any other god exists is ignorant imo. There are thousands of "gods" that billions of different people have opinions on. If I said I believed in poisidon why does that make it any different than if you believed in jesus? We both can't prove anything. Sure there are other factors such as evolution, fossils, earlier gods that ironicly have the same bibles and stories as your newer ones, and many other proofs AGAINST religion but the only thing to rely on WITH religion is "faith" and your personal thoughts.

    The Existence of God

Ok, first of all, please do the world a favor and learn grammar

You've got it backwards. If you can't prove it's nonexistence, wouldn't it only be rational to say it could exist?

The burden of proof is on the side that claims nonexistence. Heaven, hell, monsters, and ghosts could all exist. I'm not saying they all exist, but it's possible. I have an invisible gremlin hiding under my bed, likely? no. Plausible? yes. If you can't prove somethings' nonexistence, you can't say it doesn't exist. You can say its highly unlikely for the gremlin to exist, but you can't say it isn't there.

Belief works both ways. You can believe it's there, and you can believe it isn't as well. Your theory of god not existing is simply a belief as well.

No, i think its funny how people believe in god.

seriously... it makes no sense. It all comes out in luck that were here. We're lucky earth was made. I'm sure there are worlds like ours out there in different galaxies and do they have gods too? I believe in reincarnation cause when we die, what happens next? nothing? think about it. it's weird.

Lol reincarnation that wouldn't explain anything if everyone was reincarnated why are we multiplying and not staying the same amount of people and animals. Where's your proof god doesn't exist?

    How is it weird?

Death is the loss of consciousness without regaining consciousness. Liken it to going to sleep and never waking up (of course, without dreams). I could also go on to say that you find it weird because you don't want to die. Fact of life: everything that lives must sooner or later die.

Self-contradictory post of the day. You don't believe in God because God makes no sense. Then all of a sudden, reincarnation does.

Please elaborate on why God and reincarnation doesn't make an equal amount of sense.

Personally, I don't find it weird at all that nothing would happen when I die.

God, in my rightful opinion does exist. Whether you think so or not, there are things that science can NOT explain. The best they've come up with is the "Big Bang" theory, which with imaginations like ours today, isn't to hard to come up with. However, the bible has so many historical truths that it's impossible to think all these people would even dream about the things mentioned in it (at the time). The revaluations as well, are truly amazing.

How is the content of the Bible hard to come up with? Remember that it is a collection of text written over hundreds of years, there wasn't one person who came up with it one afternoon because he was bored.

What about all the obvious historical flaws in the Bible? If I predict a rediculous amount of events, and a few of them actually happen sometime in the future, does that make me psychic?

    The Existence of God

    You can't be serious?
    I have many reasons.
But one might be Animal Experimentation, Well if 'god' was real and as what most of you believers believe about him you believe him/her/it to be the highest being of everything and if that were so don't you think he would implement and idea into a Human of doing these experimentations on something else rather then his own flesh and blood?

If this 'god' was real then he/her/it has Many many many Flaws.

@whoever, the reason many scientist can't explain many things is because our knowledge of whatever it may be hasn't reached that far yet.

    The Existence of God

    Flaws?

What most Believers believe about this 'god' they believe him as the 'big guy in charge' and that he/she/it is perfect beyond doubt.
If he's so perfect then why are there so many problems in this world?
War, Hatred, Deformities. The list goes on.
But haha along with believing in this 'god' there's also 'sin' which the 'devil' bestowes upon us everyday making all this war and hatred go on.

I just believe that every relgion is bullshit. There is no one higher then ourselvs.

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say here. When I read it it sounds like God is telling people to experiment on animals, but that would be contradictory to your additude of God being nonexistant. Maybe if you tried some puctuations and commas it would be understandable.

You can't argument against religion with war and suffering as your example. They've got that base covered with "free will".
