What is the best combat range to PvP at?

Can anyone tell me what the best combat range to PvP at for easy and good loot is? I was thinking around 50-60 but I'm not sure!

I'll answer assuming you mean P2P:

The higher the level the better the loot, so loot wise the best range is 115+.

The funnest (in my mind atleast) is 60-75, since it's easy to find fights (most pures are this level) and the fights are exciting and fast paced.

The 90-100 range isn't bad, however if you are a tank ranger finding fights can be hard, if you aren't a tank ranger, chance is tank rangers own you.

Just ask if you have any more questions/ideas etc, I'm bored.

 

To say there is a range to get easy and good loot would be to lie. But, if you're talking about Obby Maulers, which I don't think you were; however, if you're interested, the low 40s is a very good place for Obby Maulers to get kos as most other pures are Rangers just getting an MSB. If you weren't meaning odd cases like the Obby Mauler then I'd say high 60s, low 70s as a Ranged/G-Mauler.

 

How about in F2P because I'm going to make a new account and level him based on this thread. And also I'm thinking about a melee pure, any ideas?

 

I haven't pk'd much in f2p to be honest, so I couldn't tell you. I did pk on f2p for a week straight on a 106 though and had lots of fun and no trouble finding fights.

With an F2P pure I don't really think you can go wrong though, just train strength and attack as you go (I reccomend 1 pray until you get high stats), pk when you want, if you can't find fights or aren't having fun train a couple more combat levels and try again. I suggest pking as much as you can though, that's the only fun thing you can do really on a pure and it's silly to see pures training a month straight then pk for an hour then train hardcore for another week never having fun.

 

Alright thanks man I'm going to get like 40 attack and 65+ str and see where that gets me!
