Is there anyway to check if a pin works?

Is there anyway to check if a pin works without actually using it? If i want to sell something for a pin and just want to sell the pin how do i know if it's real or not? kinda annoying.

 

Nope.

Only way I know of is to actually use the PIN.

 

1. Log in to the same area you redeem the pin
2. Change the country, so that its NOT the same country the pin was purchased from
3. Redeem the pin
4. If a message comes up saying "Pin not brought from this country" the pin is vailid.

I'm pretty sure this is the only way to check valid pins.

If you're US change to UK and vice versa. Its going to say something along the lines of its not valid for that area. Instead of incorrect.

It can also mean the pin has been redeemed very recently or it's invalid because the phone owner had went over the 3 pins limit >.>

not quite, call jagex and be like "yo is this pin valid"? but better not, because pin-hungry andrew gower might try to steal that pin. >:O
