Can anyone tell me what this is?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen anything at all similar to this before:






I've noticed a few of these around my house lately, and I've killed all of them. They creep the fuck out of me, I can't really figure out why. I really want to know what it is, if it is common to find these in your house, and what I should do about them.

If someone could tell me what it is, or even better, give me a link to a site providing information on this creature-of-fucking-nature, it would be MUCH, MUCH appreciated.

yea, and a really fucking creepy one at that. How big are they and where do you live? because those are probably worse than the palm-sized spiders I used to find on my ceiling in Vancouver.

 

Centipedes can grow pretty long. Those thousand legs them. Or is that a millipede. Either way it's a mede something.

Also, I live in southern Ontario, Canada.

But that doesn't look like an ordinary centipede, however, I know nothing of bugs.

 

You can look up different kinds of centipede species and you might find one that looks similar to one. Either that, or you can ask a biologist if you know one.

 

Not gonna lie, that's REALLY fucking creepy.

 

How big is it exactly because it looks fucking huge without any other objects in the pic to compare it to.

Looks like a centipede, I would suggest spraying some sort of pesticide, the same way you would deal with an ant problem

 

Hire an exterminator, and ask what the fucking hell is that shit.

It was in my sink, FML.

As weird as this might sound, I found extremely fun to pour boiling water on it.

Common house centipede, watch out though, they bite.

 

They are called Silverfish. We have them all over in East Tennessee. Found the things in my garage, at work, and at school. Creep the shit out of me.

Aw fuck I used to have those in my house all the time when I used to live in Ohio. Me and my friends called them creepy crawlers and they scared the SHIT out of us. They also move fast as hell, which makes it look like a blur with all its legs moving. But now I live in Florida and don't have to deal with those shits anymore, only roaches.
