Use a bluetooth headset on xp sp3

I am trying to use my sony bluetooth headset on my computer which is running windows pro xp service pack 3. I know the headset works because I use it with my ipod and phone. And I have a Bluetooth dongle which i know works because I use it with a bluetooth mouse. I can successfully pair the headset to the computer but after that I have no idea what to do and when I go to the services tab nothing comes up.
