Yankees might make the World Series but the Cubs aren't even gonna come close.

    World Cup 2010.

I'm hoping for England VS USA (easy win) for starters and other easy matches then England Vs Brazil (last matches have been pretty even, but last time in World Cup they beat us in the last minute very sad day)

Just wait, they won't win more then 90 games, but they will get the wild card and outplay everyone in the playoffs.

    Congrats to the Penguins.

As for the NBA, congrats to the Lakers. Wish that Orlando could push them 7, but it has been an exciting games 2-4, and I dont think the Lakers will lose on Sunday night.

I'd like to bump this thread. Maybe ask for a sticky.

    My predictions:

NBA: Celtics come back and win the championship against Lakers in 7.

    NFL: Giants win SuperBowl

NHL: Red Wings win the Stanley Cup.

Cavs with Shaq= better but it's going to last for only 1 season. Shaq will most likely retire after the season (contract expiration) and if they don't win this year, the will lose a big piece. The pressure's going to be on them.

What about the Magic? They just acquired Vince Carter by giving up some solid role players? They've also lost Hedo Turk (contract opt-out). I think they'd be better next season but not championship-winning.

I'd like to see the C's to sign Allen Iverson or maybe even Hedo from the Free Agency. They've just had magical luck in the draft in which the player (Lester Hudson) averages 28 ppg, 8 rpg, and 5 apg. He's bound to be a later sleeper with the stats and efficiency he's been giving. If they can bring in Hedo or A.I, or just a player with some kind of off-the-bench explosiveness on the offensive and defensive end, they'd win a championship. They also need to maintain their dynamic core players. If they trade away Rondo or Allen, they'd be restarting it all and putting their future on hold and taking a huge gamble. They'd better bring back their expiring contracts and players or else they will fall.
