Mounts and Pets

Is anyone truly obsessed with obtaining certain Mounts or Pets? I've some friends that are absolutely addicted to collecting them, and I've helped them out some on their way.

My favorite Mount series would have to be the Proto-Drakes, which I hope to obtain one soon.

I already have the Grand Black War Mammoth fro VoA-25, and Rivendare's Deathcharger. :]

lol, i was talking about this with one of my irl friends, he's a tauren. he said his favorite mount was the ram. I dont know about you but if i was walking around w0w and i saw a tauren on a ram...

poor ram xD

 

Yeah i love getting them. There Fun, And just another little collection to have sitting there.

 

I've been meaning to start farming the Stratholme mount for a while, but meh. Never got round to it.

 

Tryed farming the Start mount on my rogue, went through the back door and stealthed to each boss. That lasted about a week before I got bored.

I also sat around the Timelost spawning area for about 7 hours, but gave up and never went back ^^

My favorite mount is the riding nether rays, best looking mount in the game IMO, and the most practical flying mount, do to its size. The drakes are nice, but there so damn hard to see around >.< The farm for the nether ray isn't to bad either, especially with someone helping you.

 

That's very easy now... I know a way where you don't have to kill the mini-bosses....

And I am OBSESSED with the Spectral Tiger mount!

 

A friend of mine wanted to get the 100 mount achievement, and get the mount that comes with that. He was obsessed. I really want to get the Deathcharger too, though.

The Amani Bear is pretty sweet. I need to get it!

Yeah. Troll Mounts are alright, I guess, but they're easy to get.

That would look pretty bad. I wonder what else is smaller than a Ram Mount.

Yeah. I'm going to begin collecting more Mounts now, and forget about the TLPD for now. I've been constantly hunting TLPD for the last week, but not as often as I should have been for the last two days. I even lost it's spawn timer. >:C

Yeah. I did about 60-70 runs in one week, and then the instance glitched right at the door before Ramstein and Rivendare. I called up a GM, and told them I had run Stratholme so many times trying to get it, and she opened the door for us, and it dropped.
*Too bad I promised the guy with me I'd pay him 2,000G if it dropped. (I was level 70.)

It's all about being consistent and dedicated. I'm sure you'll get it eventually.

The spawn timer of TLPD is anywhere from 6-24 hours. I knew the spawn timer on our realm for about 5 days straight, until someone skinned it, and I lost the spawn timer. =\ Now I've pretty much given up.

I've never seen a Nether Ray Mount. Perhaps I need to look those up. The Drakes are nice, but the Proto-Drakes are even better. :]

There's a Mount that comes with the Achievement? Hm. I only have about 20~ish Mounts, but I have enough money to buy about 50 more, probably. I'm going to look into that.

Then go run Stratholme!!! :]

Ah. The Warbear gets boring after a little while. I'm busy trying to get the Hippograph from the Argent Tournament.

Since it was a 70 raid doing it now in the timelimit is so easy the took it away

 

I think I'm going to contact a GM about this later today. I wasn't online at all today, so I wasn't able to get anything done. This is so unfair, as, can you not still run Stratholme much faster now, and obtain the Deathcharger? There are other instances and raids that are easier to do as a level 80 now as well, yet, the Mount drops are still there, such as Zul'Gurub as well.

I don't understand why they would take this particular Mount out of the game, and I will see to it that it is put back into the World of Warcraft. :]

I got the Rivendare mount thingy on my bro's lvl 60 hunter.

 

Amani bear was taken out of Zul amun when lich king was introduced, People would sell the mounts for 15k gold on my server (guilds run you to get it).

Nice. It's really hard to get to drop. -_- I thought I was wasting my life until the glitch and then I got it.

Yeah, I had a link up above about the Amani Bear being taken out when WoTLK was introduced. 15KG is quite a lot of money to pay for a Mount, when you can just form PUG's by yourself, and go and have a chance of obtaining the Mount.

Oh, wow. That is a very nice Mount. Perhaps I should head for this Achievement. I think I have around 80-85 more Mounts to go. It shouldn't be that difficult.
