RS Cheating section

Isn't the RS Cheating section? That should be renamed to the "RuneScape Bots" or "RuneScape Autoing" section, and make a new section that revolves around actually cheating, like glitching or bug abuse.

 

Hasn't this been suggested a couple times before?

 

I'm not sure, but I think it's a good idea and should've been implemented already.

 

Noone will talk about any sort of major glitching on sythe.org because it would be detected+patched instantly by Jagex.

Even basic GFX glitches would generally not be spoken about by anyone who knew them. If you wish to get involved in the glitching community you really need to proove your trustworthyness and innovitiveness to someone ranked on one of the major external glitching boards.

Just as a bit of advice they WILL NOT take you if you cannot add something to their community (ie. if you know how to discover glitches)

 

I want a general macroing section, but it does not seem like it will happen...

Macroing IS cheating. Any unfair advantage in a game is cheating.

However, I think we should have a general cheating/macroing section as well.

While a whole section dedicated to RSBot stopped the mass amounts of spam in the cheating section, a whole section to a bot that needs to be constantly updated doesn't seem like a very good idea. I think it would be great if the rsbot section was renamed to macroing, although I'm not too sure where that would leave the SCAR section.

I think it should stick with RS Cheating. Its better than Runescape Bots or anything like that. And we dont only have bots in that section. We have glitches and other stuff.

You surely wouldn't suggest we name it: Runescape Bots, Glitches Section?

No... I don't like the idea of having a subform for each little bytecode bot, as these types of bots need to be constantly updated. Why not make a section called "Bytecode Bots" that will include all bots such as rsbot, kbot, etc. ? Although that may be confusing to newcomers who will be like "Lol, what's a bytecode?"

Yeah, I don't think Sythe should encourage people to leak bugs. The Bug abuse section would never be used.

 

Things are fine the way they are. There really aren't that many people viewing the Cheating section anyhow.
