Best death knight build

hey i was thinking of making a dk for pvp/pve. what builds are good? could anyone give me a link to a good talent tree to follow please.

 

Well it depends. What spec do you want to be?

Blood is pretty much for leveling, though some noobs use it for PVE (no offense). Frost is for tanking, and Unholy for PVE.

It should be pretty easy to find a build once you decide that.

 

Pfft, a DK can basically tank as any spec.
And DPS as any spec.

Go the the Death Knight forum on WoW's website, and you'll get what you need.

 

I've seen people running around with this spec a lot recently. It sacrifices blood gorged and DRW for a permanent ghoul.

If they are your best DPS, why do they have a Blood Spec and Unholy? For DPS, you should only have 1 Spec, and then have a Tanking Spec if you're a Death Knight. Blood is mainly for leveling anyways, so I don't know why they still have it. I rock mobs in Blood Spec, however.

You see his gear? It isn't all that, but he has an avarage of 5-6k dps at all times.

He knows what he's doing, and he got rid of all his tanking gear.

Certain specs are better for certain bosses!

www.wowwiki.com has some pretty nice specs, usually, and pretty much anything else you need.

 

I don't know what Mateo is talking about, but in my experience, Blood is good for PvE because of your ability to take out multiple mobs. The DK in my sig took like six 59/60 of those orcs in Hellfire with like a third of health left.

 

I'm talking raiding bud, not random world encounters.

Frost is best DPS (17/51/3)... and if you just started raiding go unholy 12/0/59... (sorry I'm on a wii can't really link specs)

 

I've seen blood DKs pulling upwards from 5k. Blood in my opinion is better then unholy, it is just extremely gear dependent, where unholy is not.

Frost is for tanking.

 

I know for a fact that Blood can absolutely be deadly in Raiding, as my friend does every week.

He pulls around 5K DPS in Ulduar-25, which is pretty dang good, for most DK's I see are TERRIBLE at DPS'ing. Obviously Frost is for Tanking, and Unholy, as said above, is not very gear dependant. However, it can pull a decent amount of DPS, if you have a good rotation down, and you use your CD's wisely.

As for Nastie's Blood Spec DPS, I have no idea how he is able to pull so much DPS, but I might ask him tomorrow. Go check out his Talent Chart, and try out a rotation on some dummies.

In any event, I think Blood is best for DPS based on Nastie's performance, and Unholy for those who really don't know much what to do. -_- No offense...
