    Tips to Increase PC Performace

Maybe, you're one of those people that get a slow speed when you open a program with a higher-than-average memory use and it goes slow. Well I can't make full guarantees on great success, but I have great tips that can really help use less memory and CPU.

Note - This is from my knowledge, in no way have I ripped information off anyone.

Set Your Desktop Image to Default
This may be a pain in the ass to have a boring background image of nothing blue boring blue, but this has proved to increase your PC's performance, since your PC isn't trying to load an image file, this usages less memory. If you don't know how to do this, rock-click on the Desktop, click Properties, then Desktop, then select the top option that should say (None).

    Use the Windows Classic theme
Setting your theme to the classic view uses less CPU from loading less graphic enhancements, if it's not your style, then I apologize. To do this, right-click your Desktop > Properties > Select Windows Classic.

Avoid Installing A Lot Of Programs
This is important, doing this ensures the best for your registry, choose only the programs you will need.

    Update Windows Regularly
Doing this will increase the performance of your OS as well as your security, but if you have a pirated version of Windows, be careful, there a traps there (there is a way to 'crack it', but I am NOT discussing this, as it as against the Sythe.Org rules).

There are the main tips, if they are useful to you, please give feedback :)

    1. Don't have programs on startup (open Msn and your browser when you need it)
    2. There's a ticky box somewhere in Windows that offers you Performace > Colorfulness.
    3. Clean your registry regularly.
    4. Keep things neat on your HDD (G:\Games\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
    5. Regularly check your computer for spyware/malware/viruses etc etc.
    6. Make sure your computer doesn't get too hot (heat = your computer works harder = less performance..)

    What else?

Good-ish guide, needs more pictures and a few more recommendations.

Do not update window's on a regular basis. They put all sorts of junk on your computer that just slows it down. Seriously Things you would never use and it just takes up RAM, CPU and space.

Putting windows classic theme would help so little you would never even notice.

Actually, that's not true. Since I did it a few weeks back my computer has been notably quicker and using it has been a generally more enjoyable experience.

Below is a video tutorial I have made to show how to do this also. Feel free to include it in the original post if you please.

I suggest using a program called CCleaner which cleans out a bunch of useless junk. Including internet history, for you porn addicts.

Good guide, could be a little more in depth though.
