North Korea Threatens to "Wipe out" The U.S.

Less than an hour ago I found this thread on Yahoo's home page. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/as_koreas_nuclear

What are your thoughts on this? Think there is going to be another korean or world war?

Here is part of my outlook.

 

Of course they would want to wipe us out. We tried to disarm them of nuclear weapons like a world police, which only pissed them off even more. You really think the US is going to take their weapons away and North Korea is going to be like "ok we wont get nukes anymore." Hell no, they are going to get even more nukes. No country wants to be a bitch to another country. North Korea is like the kid getting bullied that is finally standing up for themselves.

 

In my opinion the US is sticking their nose into other country's affairs and they're making some big mistakes.. I live here but we need to realize that we don't run everything everywhere else. If someone is about to use nukes we can take care of it but telling someone they can't do something just makes them want to do it more. Just like putting a kid in an empty room with a piece of candy telling him not to eat it. If you left it in the corner he might of left it alone but if you shine a light on it and point it out to him he feals compelled to eat it.

 

Your title is incomplete. Korea doesn't want regulations and doesn't want their ships searched. The U.S. should back the fuck off now.

 

More like the bully that got a beating from friends of the kid he was bullying.

I'll lol if they try to attack us, won't be much of a "war". Attacking the US is like saying they want to be part of the western hemisphere...Just nuking them to the west coast.

 

The lesson that the US has taught everyone is that the best deterrent against them is a military one.

 

Yeah it would probably start a war. But I would be pissed if some korean guy just comes in my house I would ags spec him -.-.

 

Egh... I don't understand why people are so... weak now-a-days.

Since the dawn of time, the one with the biggest stick controls everything. I say, the United States isn't aggressive enough. That is why we fail. We need to go back to the ages where the United States would actually do as they say and not be some pushover.

People are so hypocritical these days and are always "looking out for other countries" while we have too many issues as is.

I am in no way saying that the United States is better than any other country, because quite frankly, I don't believe it is. The country is run by idiots. Officials are elected by popularity while the average voter doesn't give two shits about policy.

 

Bah they couldn't wipe out the US even if their lives depended on it.

Just think about it this way: A small tiny mouse says it can kill a persian cat. Do you believe it can do it? No way right?

I just hope it won't turn into another war and pull us down with it.

 

I don't even think they can. They are in no way powerful enough to send missiles our way, they be able to blow up U.S. boats headed their way but as for the whole country. I don't believe so.

 

Kim is just provoking us to start a war. And even though NK is allied with China, I highly doubt China would help them vs the world.

 

if they even point a gun on an american north korea will be deleted off the map.

 

I feel that I should also point out a few things.
#1 North Korea is dangerous, they weren't testing nuclear weapons just for the heck of it, they were obviously planning something. If the U.S. didnt take action, this could be more serious. We do not want a repeat of Pearl Harbor, being attacked by surprise. We're really doing everyone else a favor.
#2 While most countries that are North Korea's "Allies" are better allies with us, this would be a nuclear war so North Korea would have a better chance. My guess is that they're packing some serious heat, since they're confident enough to threaten us and all of our allies, they have a good army too. Im also surprised that most people haven't realized that even if we win, we'll be in SERIOUS debt. We're already in like 70+ trillion dollars of debt. This war could possibly crash the stock market and wipe us out from the inside. Either way, if immediate action isn't taken and our allies don't send support we're in trouble.


Edit: To the people say that North Korea doesnt have a chance, think again. They have nuclear weapons, and a great army. I suggest you read a bit more on North Korea's military forces.

 

they've over 800k soldiers thats right and a well-trained army
but it's about how many can afford their life because of a pointless war they know they'll lose

 

The US has a military budget 120 times larger than North Korea, and no state wants to war a country with such an enormous destructive capacity.

 

North Korea thinks they can do Anything.

They are going to fail if they bomb,Might hurt us.But if We bomb them Back It'll Destroy them,Blow them off the map. The last thing the USA Needs Is another War.

Korea will be fucked, They threatened china a while ago. I dont think they will help so its pretty much Korea Vs. World
