Detection system bluff?

Are you guys for real?

 

they bluff because they cannot keep up with macros
they did get serious with the 1 strike you're out policy
my friend has been botting basically nonstop for 1 week overnight & all and still no ban

 

you used to get 3-5 lamps in the time it took to hunt 1k chinchompas.

i think mouse recorders are the way to go, i've had less trouble with them than with rsbot as it does illegally access rs to begin with. SCAR would be great if people scipted for it...

 

I've been using RSbot all day and only have had a few randoms. (Messed up one time)
In a way its a bluff, and in another way its a warning to stop being so obvious.
Limit yourself to less than 14 hours of autoing a day.

 

I believe they do give you invisible randoms because sometimes it says do randoms in the chat log and i'm like wtf but it doesn't it just resumes normally.

 

Very True, but regardless of what jagex says or does we all know thats there basically bs, i mean if i recall right people can remember the incidents 6/6/6? and they were just playing on that day messing around and back then i read an article that said "Jagex employees got out of bed in th emiddle of the night to fix the problem" which means nobodys monitoring W T F?:nuts:

 

Ok. If I understood you people right, it looks like the "auto banning" is a bluff. Like Jagex was saying in their news, (I'm not sure actually sure how they formed it) "We can easily detect all type of macros with our detection system". That is defiantly a bluff. They must be thinking we are really stupid.
However, it seems like their tactic worked. Everyone here have became a little scared of botting, and recommends everyone else to "Don't bot!" or wait a while and see.
I asked on the official Runescape forums why there still is macros in the game, after their new, fantastic detection system, HERE.

Simply, just scare us from botting.

Ahh.. Here's a lots of theories, if you are (or where) a hardcore botter (like me) you'd see that it was a bit fewer accounts that got banned the weeks before the detection system where released.
Some people therefore say that Jagex detected the botters and listed them all up in the weeks before the system where released. Then, they decided to scare us, and banned all the accounts that they listed up. Makes sense?

 

Yeah, alot of my mates still bot, and still have NOT been banned from this date.

I began botting again yesterday, been botting total 15-16 hours on each account so far. No ban.

 

It's a bluff. And personally I think invisible randoms are really just your bot picking up that someone near by got a random, but I can't confirm this.

Personally, I think it's a double-edged sword for Jagex to call a bluff like this. It'll just make scripters and bot makers work harder, and scare most newbies away from botting.

 

Correction, a mass amount of people got banned. Now, when people get banned, it's "all because of the new system". Before, nobody really cared, and their care about it was "meh", just because they could bot another account. But now whenever someone gets banned, they start thinking of the so-called "newly-implemented system". That's why you now see more people talking about getting banned, hence the "more" factor.

That's impossible. Has Jagex ever thought about libraries? Maybe going over a friend's house who bots?

Exactly. Before, people got banned. Everyone is acting like bans just started. I believe they saved up a few bans and let loose 15k bans. 15k is not a large amount.

 

This is an excellent explanation, and for most peoples sake, i hope its true. because from what i have heard they are easily combated.

 

The only people who are gettign caught are those who Bot WAY too much on simple scripts.

If you stick to 6 to 10 hours a day your fine .

Btw am I the only person to think that jageax has reduced the amount of randoms? Been getting way less Recently.

This all seems very strange theres less randoms people botting have been getting banned less i think jagex has a plan mabye another mass ban? but BOTTING WILL NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! F U QUIREJEX
