F2P pure - STR of Ranged first?

Sup people,

After like a 3 year break I'm playing Runescape again, just for pking which is the only thing I find fun on runescape.

I'm member already but I plan on F2P pking first, ATM I got 48 Str and 40 attack.

I want to be a range 2h so my current goals are 60 str, 40 atk and 60 ranged. I am planning to get 60 strength first, then PK a bit for fun, and get 60 ranged after that. But some people tell me it's better for my combat level to get 60 ranged first before I traint to 60 strength.

I thought it wouldn't matter which one I should train first, it's just a combat formula and it doesn't matter which one I train first. So, who is right?

Any other tips or something are always welcome, I'm training on Rock crabs atm.

 

it has nothing to do with your combat lvl but ranged is easier to pk with

 

Yes true, but before I seriously start pk'ing I'm getting 60 str and ranged first, the question was if it would matter (combat lvl wise) if I'd get 60 str or 60 ranged first, but thanks for this fast reply.

And why? Listen, I'm not asking which is better, but if I would be a higher combat level if I train to 60 str first and then 60 ranged, or it would be better (less combat) to first train ranged to 60 and THEN get 60 str, does it make a difference or not?

 

It doesn't matter really, just what you prefer. I would go range, but it's really up to you.

Just do range to get it over with that way when you train str you won't get hit as much since you will have more HP

 

I always found training range first is better because the HP is greater.
Meaning less food in the long run.
It doesn't matter what you train first, its a flat formula.

so i could always pk without being weaker in range or strength
