Really, I love the game, but like TGump said, if you do not exceed even level 40, then you miss what the game is about. There's so much to do, and you really can't get to all of it within a month. That's why people keep subscribing until they find out what happens when they start doing intense raiding, which I love. I probably raided, when I was level 70, Black Temple, Hyjal Summit, and Sunwell Plateau over 1000 times all together, more or less for each Black Temple or Hyjal. You just have such a great time when you get to know a good guild.

Uhhh no, go away. It took me like literally 4 days spread across 2 weeks of ZF, Strat and Scholo runs at the most to get from 41-60 on my shaman with plenty of sleep and sparse play.

If you found it boring, you chose the wrong class to play. Find one you enjoy and get back to me.

Well, I was wondering the same. I have a few hours to waste during the week and I need a new game. The one thing I liked about Runescape was the skills; I think I would miss them in WoW

You still have professions (much like the skills in Runescape) in World of Warcraft. ;)

The main difference between Runescape and World of Warcraft is that if you want to get anywhere in the game you have to grind. With WoW, you don't have to grind. In fact, questing is one of the best methods of levelling up in the game.

Yeah it was a bit OTT and I typed it from habit, heh.

Also: cooking, fishing, skinning, mining, herbalism, alchemy, blacksmithing, skinning, leatherworking, tailoring, jewelcrafting, enchanting, engineering, inscription.

Takes alot of patience to max any of those out (aside from maybe skinning).

Well, questing is the main reason I never signed up for WoW. I hate runescape quests. I enjoy grinding monsters. Eh, I may be a little insane? Moved into my room before the paint could dry and the ventilation wasn't the greatest. Fumes may have gotten to me.

Runescape quests are a lot different than WoW quests.

WoW is pretty fun.. :) It gets boring after a few months but I guarantee if you give it another shot after it gets boring that you will get addicted again.

WoW is so much better than runescape, honestly. I used to play runescape on and off from 2002-2008, but then I started WoW and it took all my free time. :p You need to join a good realm, a decent guild(most suck and just want members for the hell of it), and a few friends to play with and talk to while playing and you will be set for the next year. :p:p I still talk to most of the people I met the first week I started playing WoW in January '08.

    (btw, the owls are hypnotizing...)

Right, WoW is more addicting then fun... Or well, it is fun aswell.. oO..

Basically you'll be leveling like mad, which I find rather fun (the first two times). Basically you'll be questing, and doing instances (you'll love "new" instances).
When ever you have the chance to do a new instance that you've never done before, you'll jump right along, and actually have a blast.

The game is becoming more and more easy, specially with all the addons and guides (which have been ripped) out there. And Blizzard themselves making the game itself easier for new players.

A big part of the game is picking a class that you will enjoy playing (not the one that level the fastest, that's a big no no!).

But if I had to answer in short "Yes, WoW is fun".
Specially the very first time, and even more fun with a friend.

(It's late, so if there's a lot of spelling mistakes, don't judge me!)

I always thought WoW was gay. I played rs for
like 4 years before I got bored. Once you hit a
pretty high level, there's nothing to do at all. It's
basically "over" in RS when you get higher lvl'd and
get the gear you need. In WoW, you get to raid,
do heroic instances, and a lot more once you hit
higher levels. Just give wow a try

    Boring at first when leveling.
But it gets much better when you instance and stuff. Finding a good guild is also key.
I know most people have said what I just said, but it's the truth.
