Noobie Help - Want to start coding.

Hello, this is the best place I could find to post this, sorry if it is not the correct section.

But,

I would like to try my hand at coding, and have found it very hard to find a source with everything a beginner would need to start out.

I would greatly appreciate it if your could give me a link to a server source that I can mess around coding with, I can not go to the Moparscape forums because my internet will not allow it, so Please do not tell me to check there.

I already have a few friends who know how to code and one is going to host, so I am incharge of getting a source.
