    Legalize Marijuana?

Yea i clicked on it expecting some dumb documentary, but it's actually VERY interesting. I just love it when the guys like "hell i can abuse anything, i can stab a fucking fork in my eye does that mean we should make forks illegal?"

watch it guys. at least watch the first five minutes, and then you'll want to watch the rest.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I wonder if the poll would differ if it was about all drugs being legal.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I find nothing wrong with the use of Marijuana, but they make it seem like it's a terrible drug sent from the devil. With Marijuana legalized it would cut down in crime drastically, and then we would have enough space in our prisons for raspiest and serial killers.

    Legalize Marijuana?

    That part made me laugh.

Or what about those 20 train carts hidden underground where they grew a huge amount of pot. Man, that's sick.

Well, those jails are actually built for pot smokers... strange uh? There are actually more pot smokers imprisoned than murderers, rapists, thiefs, etc. all together.

    Source?
I really doubt there are more people in jail for simply smoking pot than there are for those types of crime you listed.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I don't understand why everyone has a different theory on what will happen if weed is legalized. Some people say that crime will go down, weed sales will go up, harder drugs will become more common, harder drugs will be unnecessary, etc., etc....

You can't just assume that something will happen.

    Legalize Marijuana?

Mmh, I could be wrong, because I could have misinterpreted that documentary, but there are alot of normal people being busted for marijuana possession, way too much.

    Numbers of 2007 (total)
    Year Total Arrests
    14,209,365

    Total Drug Arrests
    1,841,182

    Total Marijuana Arrests
    872,720

    Marijuana Trafficking/Sale Arrests
    97,583

    Marijuana Possession Arrests
    775,137

    Total Violent Crime Arrests
    597,447

    Total Property Crime Arrests
    1,610,088

But as you can see, more people are being busted for marijuana than for violent crimes.

    Legalize Marijuana?

Well, going strictly off facts that you can find from legitimate sources the prohibition of weed is simply ridiculous. It helps all sorts of mental and physical ailments (medically proven) and I think there is really no reason why it is illegal.

Most people who are against the legalization of hemp have the "reefer madness" mindset beaten in their heads or are simply ignorant and listen to everything the government tells them through the T.V.

+ Idk about you guys but I drive stoned all the time and so do my buds (friends not my weed or that would crazy!) and in most cases your either not impaired enough to drive or your in fact better. Assuming your an experienced driver and not someone who just received your license.

There is really no logical argument as to why it shouldn't be legal. It has other uses then just smoking. The plant itself can be used in many ways. It can make cheaper/better rope and paper(among other things) and can be used in foods ;)

    Incarceration

Incarceration is the only well-proven health hazard associated with cannabis use. American jails are now overflowing with an estimated 1.7 million inmates, the largest per capita prison population in the world. Wore than 60% of those prisoners are drug offenders, many with little or no previous criminal history."

It probably would differ, and it should differ.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I think it should be legalized, due to it is not as bad as alcohol, and alcohol is legal, as well as it doesn't enrage you, and as far as i know it doesn't cause any actual withdrawal effects.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I would be for the legalization of marijuana if it weren't for the fact that people would be able to smoke a ton of weed legally, then go for a drive. I am happy every day that I'm not killed on the road with people who aren't on any kind of drug.
