Does Ring Of Wealth Help?

I just wanted to know if the ring of wealth helped with rune defender's? I'd be very pleased if someone could reply

 

Yeh, they do help.
To get a rare drop imagine that before you kill the monster a ball is being dropped onto a circle with 10 holes on it. The ball goes through one of the holes and lands on another circle with 10 holes on it and goes through one of the holes again, and it goes on till it gets to the "rare" item if you see what I mean.
BAsically the ring of wealth will make the holes bigger and there would be less to have to go through.

actually that's similar to the way Jagex explained it.

 

I've wore the ring of wealth with one account trying to get rune defenders and another w/out the ring.

Hardly any difference, still took an annoyingly long time. ><

 

It's extremely hard to judge how much it helps, but Jagex says it does, let's assume it does.

Now, the only thing in dispute is whether defenders are included in the category of "rare" items to have their chance increased. They may not be "rare" by RoW standards and be discarded for something else (e.g. Adamant 2h)

I think the deffenders are random and wealth won't help much..cause i used row (ring of wealth) still took me about the same amount of time as it did without it.

 

Yes they do help but it depends on your luck sometimes

 

I've only done defenders once and I got from bronze-rune within an hour using a ROW, it seems like it definitely helped me.

For a bronze without the ring it took me 20-30 kills with the ring 8. You do the math.
