Animals.

Hey.

I had a dog named Scruffy.
Last sunday he got ran over and killed and for some reason my whole life just feels so down right now.

Im sort of starting to get over it but it kills me inside that he was only 2 years old.

We had got him from the local pound as a puppy. He had 3 previous owners in the space of 2 months because he had a wild personality.

With love and care he settled down and i just miss him so much.

My family and I are thinking of adopting another puppy soon.

I want to know about your pets and animals and how you guys coped with loss.

Also post pics of your pets i wanna see them.

adopt a pitbull
they are loving and caring dogs and treat you like their own pups.
Dont listen to what the media portay's on this breed.
They have no idea what they are talking about
these dogs are using for search and rescue, drug raids and everything.

My girlfriends got a dog called Scruffy too. xD

Sorry for the loss but he was bound to die one day :/
I had a cat but I had to leave him back in the states :'(

Sad to say but true.. im just upset he was killed and it wasnt a natural death.. he was so healthy!

 

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. I can't imagine how I'd feel if my cat was run over or killed by someone. I saw a dead cat in the road a few weeks ago and it looked so much like my cat... My heart just sank, so I ran into the road to check the collar but it didn't have one on so I put it at the side of the road to leave the poor thing with a bit of dignity.

A woman was speeding and i got a call and he was in the road.. the woman told me it was her husband so i walk up to the husband.. and he tells me it was his wife... then they both drive off... No decency.

My mate had an australian sheep dog i think it was, also got run over. People speed so much in my area..

 

Heh, he's 3 years old on August 1st. Doesn't feel like we've had him that long. His name is Theo and I love him lots ^_^

 

Yeh time flys when you love you're pets. I would love a cat.. but sadly im alergic I'll just raise another dog when the time is right.

 

When you get a rescue animal you have to realize that even when they do pass away all of that time they lived with you and all that happiness they had would have not existed had you not adopted them, they would have been put down.

 

My dog got hit by a semi once..there was only a leg that we could identify.

I got over it because its just a dog..even though we had it for like ten years.

 

Sorry for your loss bro, it always sucks to lose a loved one (even an animal).
The only pets I have ever had were two budgies and a mess of fish. We eventually gave the budgies away because they were so damn annoying.
I still have my fish though.
