Sailing skill?

Looks like a lot of people don't think so as the video is rated 4.5/5.

 

The video is form almost a year ago. Many many people thought that sailing was actually going to come out then, so that's probably where it got the goo rating.
Also, taking in consideration the age of the video, at least one of the evidence points is invalid,and that would be the time length between the last skill and now, it's been much more than 7 months.

i think they should make a new combat skill aka: ringtoss. the ringtoss skill will revolve around throwing key rings in hopes of looping it on the many rs users penors, vouch if you support

I think they are going to realase a skill where we can jouste meaning getting on a horse with a long pole and hit players off

or a teleportation skill

where you can like tele anywhere fast like in varrock and stuff :/

or a skill where you can fix stuff thats broke and make furniture like bob the builder :/ dunno

 

I'm just saying that it was much more believable it was going to happen then. Most of the evidence actually made sense. Like for example, the skill cape they thought was the Skilling Cape in the logo, people actually thought that was it because it was before the Music Cape was discovered. Also, for a while everything thought the high scores image was real, until apparently a J Mod declared it a fake.

 

I would love for the sailing skill to come out, not just for the fact that it's sailing, just the fact that any new skill jagex realeases will open up more playtime and fun to its players

Also, skill will never come out, Sailing? honestly? Is it just me or does that sound like the dumbest skill since firemaking

 

I think this skill will be cool only if we will be able to drive our boat. I really hope its not gonna be a homo-skill in which we just click and do nothing but clicking. Like if u have to train sailing by simply making boats and then letting drive somewhere by itself seem's very boring. Maybe rs can even make a mini-game out of it. Where we require construction to make a very nice boat and a sailing level to drive and fight other players. basically combine like the house system and use that basis to make a boat. And then bring up the pvp system to fight with boats.

 

Sailing would probably be the last straw for me if it does come out as a skill. It's a fucking ridiculous idea

 

With the current graphics, I hope this skill doesn't come out.
I mean, look at the boats in Port Sarim..

Agreed. If they made it wouldn't be used.

 

Music Cape would be cool, wonder what the emote would look like? Or maybe they would get rid of the guitar emote?

 

It's likely it will happen. I heard rumours of Construction and Slayer and Hunting nearly a year before the skill was actually released.

 

Sailing would be gay imo.
What would you do, build your own ship with construction then sail to karajama?

I think it won't come out, and if it does, it will be reaally boring and a hard stat to train

 

Music skill would be cool actually, because I could think of alot of things to get it up. Sort of like Summoning, where you need pouches, but not pouches, but song pieces? and everytime you get the pieces right, you play a song and get xp or w.e.

Regardless, sailing would be gay.

If this happens I'm quitting rs. I'm fed up of these money eating skills.

Also, how the hell are you guys coming up with ship building?! Fucking sailors don't build ships! Just like warriors don't make their swords.
