If you've been botting for the last few days, you should probably get on and do something that is by hand, like pking. Get them off your trail.

 

i only started bottign two weeks ago...Not been banned.. now doing lots of quests.. pkign etc.

I'm not sure if I'm banned, my account got locked. Mostly because me and someone else are trying to get my account. Although it doesn't show up on the hiscores, not sure if it's because it's locked or not.

 

locked and perm banned, locked accounts still show up on the high scores.

 

my main got banned they definitely arent bluffing. i guess thats probably cos i was really going ott with the botting :/

my only advice to anyone is that dont leave it on for 24 hours or even 12 hours because that is plain stupid jagex will notice anyone playing for obscenely long periods of time and will result in a BANNAGE.

so if your gonna bot be sensible but i would stay away from botting... for now...

 

I do think that they are over-exggerating like usual however they are trying to crack down as much as possible on anyone macroing even in it's simplist form of an autoclicker.

Meh I used to bot overnight. Didn't want RuneShit lagging up WoW while I'm trying to raid in the day. Never banned - checked the rsbot logs in the morning and there wasn't a worrying amount of randoms either.

 

Another thing though, is that with a complicated enough script, it begins to get repetitive. Also, Jagex can't just go around banning everybody that plays alot.
