Tutorial - Smooth Silk Effect.

Ok , so this is my second guide on sythe , and this one is how to make a silk effect very easily, i discovered this myself just experimenting.

You can either watch this video or scroll down and read.




Ok so first of all , make a new file, make it 500x500 , just got the sake of the tutorial.


Set the background to black , then add a lense flare, like this.




Ok now you have done that , use the smudge tool and push the flare out in all directions, try and keep the smudges in curvy lines, like so.











Once you have done that , go to filter>artistic>chrome and select that.










then once you are done with that, you can change the colour of the "silk" by going to image>adjustment>colour balance , then make it whatever colour you want , and you should get something like this.

Haha! , it is actually! , i made this channel i havnt been on it in a while though , its pretty much identical to my tutorial , i was going to just post the video but i did images instead
