My cat is dying.

I need help badly , We took it to the vet and my cat has a blockade(blockage). Its when he eats dry food a lot and dehydration , his poop gets hard inside him and then now he can't poop.

=( what can I do to save my 11yr old cat.

Let it die, it's time has come.
If its in pain, keeping it alive is pretty much torturing it.
I know its hard to accept, my dog that I had throughout my entire childhood had to be put down

 

Yeah, but I only had him for about 2 years?

I found my stray cat but hes been living for 11 years! =( he's getting weaker

everyday and now he started to cry when he TRIES to poo

 

Why can't the vet save him...?\
I actually see no reason why a vet can't help your cat with medicine or something.

 

11 years is pretty old, when pets get old, they get weaker immune systems and are more prone to these kinds of health problems, you could probably prolong its life a few months with expensive surgery, but if the cat is in pain then that would just make things worse for it.
I suggest getting it put down.

 

The vet can save him , theres time left.

But it cost a lot of money to treat my cat .

About 700$ for the surgery and exams and crap.

 

I somewhat agree. But if there is something that can be done, why not try it?
And by that, I mean if the treatment cures the cat, not prolongs the life by a couple months.

 

Take it to the woods and shoot it.

Nothing is worse then pain before you die.

Shut up you insensitive prick. I, for one, care about cats. My cat Theo means a whole lot to me, and if you have any sense of decency you should learn to appreciate that people get emotionally attatched to pets and don't want them to die. In essence it'd be like a family member dying.

Also, I'm really sorry to hear your cat isn't well, but sometimes it's things like this that just mean it's your cat's time to go. 11 years is a good age for a cat. If you don't want it to die in pain, there's always the option of euthanasia. Or, judging by what you've said, you could just not feed it dry food <_<

 

Yeah, just put it to sleep and end its pain. Its hard but it will be for the best.

Yeh I agree with Verts. I do not own a cat but... it is an undeniable fact that it is alive. It, like us, have feelings too. Imagine if you could not defaecate for two whole weeks.
