I just rejected...

A girl who I've known for 9 years and lives two doors down. I feel kinda bad. Does anyone think this is gonna be awkward? But I honestly didn't like her. at all. I didn't have anything else to say, really.

You this kind of stuff happens (just happened to me just yesterday). I will be awkward for the first few days but everything will go back to normal. She might talk to you less because she knows you're not interested.

Ok, lemme tell a story.

I asked this girl I have known for a while out, I swear to God I made it so OBVIOUS I liked her, but I didn't know much about her dating history, so whenever I did ask her out, she was completely blindsided because she had never had a boyfriend ever, didn't catch the signs, ect.
She didn't want to ruin our "great friendship" and said no.

We ended up with "Let's just be friends", and every time we talk it feels like she is shanking my sack, and kicking me in the face.

"Let's just be friends" is complete and utter pain to the person that got rejected.

 

Just act like it never happened and it won't be awkward.

 

Yeah y'all helped and I mean sure I can act like it never happened but it'll still be kind of weird.......but I tend to sense when things are awkward and make it less so...haha whatever I'm sure it'll be fine.

 

It wont be "just fine", at least not if she actually liked you.

Talk to her about it or you'll be pretty much killing her.
