Enter Shikari New Album 'Common Dreads'

For any fans of Enter Shikari, sorry to say, but they failed miserably on their new album. The band has turned "political" on this album, and to be honest Rou's voice is not compatible for it. The whole album just sounds very whiny and bitchy.

The hype only lasts for about 30 seconds on the 2nd song after the intro. Then the album just starts to die out and worsens by every song. Although there are a few songs such as 'Juggernauts' that'll get your balls bouncing off the walls.

I was very excited about the new album especially after an album like "Take To The Skies." Like most bands i guess they can just never beat their first great album.

I've got the leaked copy, but still everything is how it should be, maybe the quality isn't as great, i'm hoping it's not great due to it being a leaked version, but if not, then don't even listened to the album, sounds like a huge mess.

This band was great for composition, now their all moving apart trying new things, which isn't a bad thing, it's what you're suppose to do as a musician, expand, but their not the greatest musicians instrument wise.>_<

I hope others find this album great and amusing, as it failed me.

 

I haven't heard it... I love some of Enter Shakari's other stufff though. May go out and buy this when my next paycheck comes... Unless you advise against it? =]

I'm downloading it right now. I don't really like Enter Shikari, but some of their songs are okay, so I'm eager to find out what their new music sounds like.

It's not a bad album, some songs are pretty good.

 

I liked them for Mothership and sorry you're not a winner.

They're ok, but for scremo I find myself listening to ETF more (the old at least).
