Computer doesn't Recognize Alt Codes

What could I install for my computer to recognize these? Thanks

mmmmm, has your keyboard worked since u bought it, or it just started failling recently?

 

are you sure its the computer or is your keyboard broken?

 

If it's not the default keyboard, go the the website of the bran of your keyboard and look for the updated drivers of it. (You can also search Google.) Install them and restart your computer. If that doesn't work try a different keyboard.

Edit:
To determine if it is your keyboard, and not your computer, try doing them with the on screen keyboard.

 

I can type them, the computer (I think) can't recognize them.

EDIT: It is the original keyboard, hasn't worked since I reformatted.
