[Grave's Guides] Reporting a Real Life Item Scammer

With the release of the Real Life Items section, there is a new group of scammers.
I know many of you don't want to go to the police office, so this will help.
Hopefully you can teach some scammers a lesson. Anyway, here goes.

    1. Go to www.ic3.gov. They are partnered with the FBI. (Notice that this is a government website)

    2. Scroll down and click "File a Complaint"

    3. Now just click "I accept" at the bottom of the screen.

Before we go any further, let me explain what the Internet Crime Complaint Center is.

This is basically the police station of the internet, for any country. You can report item scams, identity thieves, threats, sexual predators, etc. For this guide I'll be using the item scam report. Here you can also report the sale of illegal goods if anyone tries selling you some crack. :p Again, you can use this to report any scam/fraud that you encounter by e-mail, craigslist, messenger, or anywhere on the internet. Okay, let's continue.

4a. I'm assuming you're using this for Sythe, so for the first page check "no" since this doesn't involve spam.
4b. Also check "no" for the second question because that is also irrelevant.
4c. The next question is asks about the type of incident. Since you were scamming item/money, check "Money (or shopping)"
4d. For the next option, check "Someone tried to cheat you while buying, selling, or renting something."
4e. Since this is not an auction site, check "no" when it asks if it was on an auction site such as eBay.
4f. They will then ask if you are a buyer or seller. The seller is the person who ships the item; buyer is the one paying money.
4g. The next option will vary for you, so just read through them carefully and select one.

Alright, now that we're through with the simple questions, we're on the actual form.

    LAST STEP! (5)

The next step is important. Fill as much as you can with the scammer's information.

Alright, in the next section, put the actual amount of money you lost.

After that, describe with as much detail what happened.

Then add contact information of any witnesses such as a middleman.

Mind linking me? I've never seen one here which is why I thought I'd make it since the Real Life Items section came out.

question: what if your under 18 is it still right to release your age? Also will they check if your name/address/age is real?

Answer everything truthfully. I'm pretty sure they will. Why would you put a fake address?

What will they do after you have reported the scammer? Any chance you can get back your lost items?
