ip question :O

Just wondering if its possible to get the real ip from something like

d75-159-223-58.abhsia.telus.net

or something similar to that, because people told me that they can't.

Can a Admin or Mod add me please, I have an ip logged in to my runescape account and i think its someone from sythe.

It's possible to find the IP by doing a DNS query.

 

A query on what? He's not looking for a domain or anything.

He's just asking to convert IP's in a different format to decimal form.

Like that. You put in the host you wish to look up and it'll find the IP.

EDIT: Nobody on Sythe matches that IP.

 

I'm guessing that was just an example IP. Runescape occasionally likes to spew out the IP in hex, which is why he must be confused.
