Bought a new car!

Hey whats going on guys? Well I bought a new car, the only thing is its not "new" its just new to me because I just bought it haha.

Well Ive been looking at this car for a wile now (Like a year and a half). Ive always searched craigslist, and autotrader but they always had shit wrong with them. Ex: High mileage, more then 2 owners, heavily modded, dents and dings, salvaged, been in accidents. . .you get the point.

Well not to long ago about a week and a half ago I started to search autotrader again because I was coming home from airborne school. And I came across what seemed to be the cleanest one Ive seen. So as soon as I went home I went there to see if they had sold it. They didn't so I immediately put 1k down to hold it for the time being until I got shit together.

Long story short I bought the car.
Its a Red srt4 (the camera on my blackberry makes it out to be orange lol.

- 26k miles
- 1 owner
- Clean carfax report
- Not many mods. (just an exhaust and sounds like a different BOV)
- No dents or anything and totally clean inside.

Heres some pictures I took on my phone before I left for my duty station (fort Cambell Kentucky) I didn't have enough time to drive it down so I flew here, hopefully this weekend I'll fly back and drive it here.
SOOO maybe I can get more picture of the inside, engine compartment etc. .

BTW...the car is actually red, not orange...although they make orange srt4s lol.

BTW2...I'm also aware that there's al ot of haters/lovers for this car lol.

This car closely resembles what mine sounds like...Except the bov (blow off valve) is louder in mine...In this one you can hear a spsssss noise, thats the BOV.

Its my 3nd'ish. I drove around a toyota avalon for a wile, then a cobalt, thenn after airborne school I bought that thing lol.

I say 3rd'ish because I drove the avalon for like 2 weeks after I bought it the bitch started putting out black smoke (oil ring probably warped or broken) So I traded it in for the cobalt.

 

nice i have a modded saxo, but i dont use it too often because i ride bikes, just wrote off one so getting a ducati 748 next when insurance comes

Ive seen some pretty nice civic si's on the street, not usually my kinda car though. As a first car I wouldn't do that haha, crash up an old car first haha...trust me

Saxo is short for? I love sport bikes haha, I would get one but I would probably die. What kind of bike did you have before? And ducati's are beautiful bikes.

Yeaa, Sti's, evo's, trans am, camaro's etc. . .I love em all haha

 

It kind of looks like a Dodge Neon to me, but how much did you pay for it? I'm not a fan of the car nor the color, but whatever floats your boat I suppose.

What's the writeup/feedback on Dodge's, good cars/bad cars?

 

it's just saxo, i think it's probably just a UK car, i had a 08 yamaha r125 a bus pulled out infront of me and i hit the side :S.

Now though i'm going for a bigger bike 125 got boring anyway

It based off the dodge neon...SRT (street racing tech.) took that car and changed the internals. Pretty bad crash test rating actually lol...Its so light, which is one of the reasons why its so fast. It only weighs 2800lb's lol. And the color I see where your coming from because its not the actual color...My blackberry storm made it look orange...its really a bright red.

Thanks! It makes a pretty bad sound between the blowoff vavle releasing preasure, the motor itself, and the sound the exhaust makes when you take your foot off the gas haha

I paid 14,000 + Tax + Insurance etc...

and I know right, he must think im Daddy Deep Pockets over here lol...maybe if mommy and daddy helped me buy a car I might've bought something different. Doubt though I've always loved this car.

paint it a darker color if you go fast, so its less noticable to cops.
