Swine Flu... What's the fuss?

It's not scary to me at all.. It's the medical care and things I'm graceful to have that saves me from it .

 

it's being used as a distraction from other things going on in the world.

It's a media frenzy. Apparently the drug wars and pirates weren't bringing in high enough ratings.

 

It's probably more now, I just remember those statistics from a news bulletin a week or so ago.

 

It's going to kill a lot of older and yonger people...

Just like normal flu does. = /

 

Actually the majority of people with it are teenagers and young adults.

 

Well, apparently the virus is expected to come back a hell of a lot stronger during the winter months, which it is expected to start killing people quickly.

 

-.- Yawn, I'm sick of my classmates thinking Swine Flu will kill everyone. I really can't understand why everyone is scared. like omg, I'm not afraid of any sickness.

 

Way to generalize two countries and 400 million + people.

By the way, there is no such thing as a 'cure' for the flu; only vaccines.

Didn't swine flu come from some little kid in a foreign country?

 

I believe it can kill, but it's rare.

 

Because every one thinks its going to be the spanish flue all over again.

Seeing how the renamed swine flue to H1N1 Virus, I hope every one starts turning into zombies and Me and my m8s get to fight em off or die trying lol

 

There have been a bunch of schools here in Houston that closed early because of swine flu... lucky bastards, they get an extra month of summer and no finals...

 

swine flu, is for instance like pneumonia just a couple of extra symtoms.
its not life threatening if dealed with early enough.
and its only having such a big fuss about it because its called "swine" flu
so people are thinking jeez we cant eat bacon anymore ect.

 

I seriosuly think this is more associated with the hygeine of the typical person. Excuse my spelling btw, no spell check on school computer

Wash your hands more often. Seriously, everytime you touch a doorknob to open a door, you realize that thousands of hands have touched it before you, right? People might have even jerked off beforehand, and you just open the door like it's nothing.

Everytime you use a textbook or any book from a library/school, you do realize that people lick their finger right before they turn the page, and that books are impossible to be cleaned right from inside out? Imagine all those little germs in those pages...

Showering everytime you come home helps. You've been sitting on chairs and floors all day. On the ground outside a dog might have took a dump a while ago and you're just sitting on it like it's nothing. Someone might have took a leak out there too. and then people sit on chairs and you sit on them, etc etc... and you come home and roll onto your bed?

This sounds really silly... but leather sofas are better than regular fabric ones. Why? leather can be wiped with a wet cloth.. while fabric sofas suck in all the bacteria and can't be cleaned from the inside. So an old sofa would have years of dirty stuff in it... not trying to sound immature, but everytime you fart on the soft the fabric is going to absorb it.

I know at the moment the world is being pussy about it.
The threat is the virus mutating into something that would be worth worrying about. Because of its ability to spread rapidly, it would cause trouble if the virus mutates and becomes a harsher virus.

 

omg i go to branham highschool and our school was one of the only ones that got to take a week off from school.

 

nothing.. it's just the media blowing it out of proportion
