I don't know where to put this, so i chose this section. In runescape section, they talk about buying junk for 1 million and selling junk for millions of nps. What exactly do they mean by that? I would have put in their forum, but i didn't want to post in wrong section.

My second question is, if you are looking for a membership special price, what does a pin number have to do with it? I have always wanted to get a membership to runescape for my friend and I, but I don't understand the process. I read a forum on scammers for that process and now i'm hesitant to get membership for my friend and I.

Please don't be afraid to move this to a different forum. I just didn't know where to post. -Justin

Buying junk = buying items that aren't sellable for real life money. Lets say I have 100,000 willow longbows (u). Nobody that plays runescape (In their right mind) would buy them, because they are worthess and over priced.

Now, someone who has alot of money in runescape might come along and offer to buy them if the person selling them pays them in paypal. Lets say like this, the bows are 100 gp each, making the total value 10m GP. The person buying them will say like "I'll buy your junk for $2 a mill" meaning, per mill of junk he buys the person who sold it will have to pay him. So, the person who originally had the willow longbows will now have 10m cash, and pay the buyer of them $20.

And as for the pins, They are simply numbers in which you enter on the page -the membership subscription by SMS payment, you input the number and it gives you 1 month of membership. And if you are worried about being scammed, feel free to find a good, and trusted MM. If you can't afford the funds, find a free one.

Always use a Middleman -MM- and always get a pm from the middleman.

    Good luck.

Don't worry about pins. Just buy from a trusted person. I've bought 4 and never been scammed.

You've been lucky. I've attempted to buy one and gotten scammed -.-
I've given up on RuneFag markets. If you want to buy a pin, getting a good MM is very important if you don't want to get scammed. I highly recommend you follow BenWise's advice.

Always use a MM for PINs. So many kids scam with them now it's ridiculous.

Once you get trusted, have them go first... Well, depending on how well they are trusted. I used to use mms, but I don't now because all of the official ones usually charge a fee. But, you can always split the fees between you and the seller.
