~A History of Bug Abuse~

You forgot a LOT of bugs and glitches....... LOL

 

Name some, don't just come in here for posts bud.

Also, I remember the rune satchel (or whatever it's called) to get people to go into wild while following you. I'm not sure if it was really a glitch bud w/e.

 

This is a list of major bugs mate not small graphicals. Please name a major, profitable bug I have not put up or gtfo.

Added, I know many of them as well.

 

How about telegrabbing the blue phat from the wise old man bank robbery scene?

 

It's probably impossible, lot's of people have tried. So far, no one has got it.

 

what about the War Ship glitch?

Tell me that's not a major glitch that ISN'T profiatble?... hmm. So many more to. You named about 10%. Btw from your earlier post... not getting my post count up. Been here since april and have 10 posts... yah real post count whore eh? My post earlier, i was on my iphone so didn't feel like writing a whole bunch of shit.

Nice guide. I had never heard of most of those glitches.

 

I don't know if this is considered as bug or not, but in the early stages of 'Stealing Creation' minigame, some time after that SC points glitch was fixed, I (Djoscar) discovered a bug where you could get over 700-900k xp/ hour in thieving with ease inside the minigame. I called one of my friends in to try it out with me and we were more than amazed by the amount of xp we got per 1 game (20 mins) lol

You with your friend could go into different teams, then once game has started meet up somewhere in a corner without other people and pickpocket each other for Thieving xp. The xp you get depended on opponents thieving level, and since both me and my friend were 99 thiev, we got loads and loads of xp... That was so fun, some of you might still remember me posting on sythe 'looking for thieving partner ~600k xp/ hour' lol..

I told one other friend later, which was a mistake and next day almost EVERYONE was doing it. Almost EVERY max total player for their rank to go up. Kingduffy1, funihead, nercychlidae and many others were doing this and all thank's to me lol
Then I just released it to sythe seeing that it got leaked anyway

The bug lasted for 3 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and a bit of Monday's morning, then Jagex updated Rs and bug was patched.

 

There's no proof at all that that bug ever existed. It sounds like a dumb rumor to me that many kids have fell for.

 

It did exist. I was online at the time of item lending update. Someone found it few hours after update or less maybe, my friend lost ags.
Then Jagex updated Server's immediately and made so if you try to distimilate the blade and hilt, it just brings up message that you can't do it or w/e and nothing happens

 

You should try something called google once in awhile. There's a lot of proof.

 

I got history of rsc cheating (including bugs) in 2001-2003~ if anyone is interested..
and also footage of TO's 12th abused with d spear.....

 

also in 2002 i belive was the banker killings

it was like the dupe glitch/hack. it was done with auto rune to add the attack function to npc that couldnt usually have it.

Somehow, some players were able to kill bankers using the same program that allowed item duping. The pictures with the name of the program that allowed this, have had the program named blacked out. The website where I got this from cannot be credited to because it contains some links to autoing websites. This bug didn't last very long =p. The last picture is another picture of the black hole (very few pictures around). All pictures were "linked" into one picture to save "picture space" (50 picture limit).

All I had was a lvl3 character, a shortbow and some arrows.
Apparently players (unlike Jagex) think it's funny too:

At this point Jagex... err... fixed the bug, that allowed us to kill bankers. At least they tried to, for that we bow to them.
Here are my stats. Every single level is gained either at tutorial island or killing bankers.
Finally I decided to pay a little visit to my friend Mod Bennet at his office. For some weird reason he didn;t think that banker slaughter fest was funny. Actually he described it in a word, that RuneScape masked with ****ed. Anyway he wasn't in a mood for talking because some less mature [Link Removed]rs managed to piss him off before
Here my trip ended. Bennet came for a little moment and then disappeared. Oh well, worse for him, we could tell each other scary stories in the dark or try to figure out why we're hanging in the air and not falling (so do the dropped items )"

 

You forgot the mage training arena glitch, you would smuggle money in their and swap it in for free mage exp and pizzaz points.

Ruin, googled it a few stories but no proof mate.

Paut, proof anything you said actually happened?

1. They would not need to update the servers just to patch a bug like that.
2. There is no way the lender can lose their lent item even if you completely destroyed it. I may explain this and some other bugs later.


About to add some new bugs and later some information on bug abusing I think you guys will enjoy to read...

 

Haha yeahh those are some good times right there.. i used to do the house hackk all the time and we made prob 200m or so from that on a daily basis. unfortunantly i was banned 2 weeks later for bug abuse. fml.

 

Once saw someone on the forums post about it (the day item lending was released) and a jmod replied and was like "I think there may have been a glitch ...blah... report a glitch." I wasn't a first hand witness, but I've heard it told by MANY people that I find it next to impossible for somebody to have just made that up.

That didn't work out. And my guy got 3 blackmarks because everyone was yelling "Cheating ftw" or something...that was a failure.
