THIS SHOULD BE STICKIED. I HAVE SEEN THIS SCAM GOING ON FOR TOO LONG.​

It has come to my attention that alot of the name sellers are complete fakes. They use a variety of different ways to "make" it look legit and real.

Here are just some things to look out for.

1.) Create a Account! URL Change.

Just 2 seconds ago I did this.



Looks real doesn't it? Well, it's not.
All they have done is changed the url. For example..



Can be turned into ..



JUST BY A CHANGE IN URL!
This can be used with many things, runescape inbox's, and others.

2.) Photoshop, the most common of scamming.

ALWAYS ASK FOR PROOF INGAME

Any scammer could edit a screenie easily, even if he's trusted. Even if somebody tells you he's legit, always ask for ingame proof. Now if you get scammed, and haven't read this, do so, and remember for future purposes.

This is common sense stuff. No reason to sticky, the buyer should know this hands down.

I know he should. You'd have to be dumb not to ask for verification in game. But still, people do, and this could stop alot of scams. I think.
