My First Banner :)

I just got photoshop today and this is a banner for my gaming site

So, please tell me what i can improve on and what-not
Also please rate 1-10

 

Try adding a border and blending the render with the background.

Background - Doesnt Suit Render

Create multiple layers of the render and smudge

 

try adding a border that will gain attention.

 

Banners are way larger than that, for most sites it would be anywhere from w:750-1000 h:200-320

The average site unless it is like a forum, which can still be in that range. Good job though.

 

Make it a lot larger, as suggested before; a border is optional.

 

Well see, if you go to my site i have my banner centered, and it fits as is and im thinking of adding a border soon

 

Ur signature is funnny make a new siggy, but your banner is ok. Very simple but it gets it to the point. Its not professional though thats the only problem. 5/10 =)
